Tri-State Advertising & Marketing Professionals will host its January luncheon, “How We Work”, at Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant & Lounge on January 23, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

“How We Work” is an ongoing series that features local marketers discussing their daily workflow, their most common challenges and tips for overcoming them. Learn how to make your own marketing business or department run more efficiently by asking others in your industry.

The luncheon is structured as a Q&A panel, featuring project managers, account executives and other marketing professionals. Panelists will answer questions about how they manage their marketing projects, including setting timelines (and managing client expectations). Learn how to avoid common pitfalls that undercut your efficiency – and your profitability.

Since much of the session will be dedicated to audience questions, attendees are encouraged to come with questions formed in advance. Have you ever struggled with a project at work and wondered, “how would a different company have handled this?” Here’s your chance to find out. It’s time to talk shop, so think about what you want to ask.

“How We Work” Panelists Include:

    •  Sheila Bizzell: Project Manager, Digital Fire Online Marketing Agency

    •  Toni Keesee: Vice President of Digital Strategy, Element 74

    •  Erica Mastropierro: Account Executive, Red Letter Communications

    •  Tonya Wells: Assistant Marketing Director, Southeast Missouri State University

Tri-State AMP hosts programs for club members and community guests on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Held in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the informative and entertaining programs feature professionals from all areas of the advertising and marketing fields. For more information, please visit or contact Tonya Wells, Tri-State AMP programming committee member, at (573) 651-2459.

The NDHS Education Fund Foundation is hosting a travel show for their upcoming trip to see Oberammergau Passion Play on July 12, 2020. In 1633 the Oberammergau villagers promised to perform the suffering, death and resurrection of Christ every tenth year, in so far as no one was to die of the plague anymore. The villagers were answered by God and therefore in 1634 the first Passion Play took place. The promise has been kept until today. In 2020 the 42nd Passion Play will take place in Oberammergau.

Highlights of the 10 day trip, July 12-21, 2020, include Innsbruck, Austrian Alps, Bavaria, Linderhof Palace, Fussen, Neuschwanstein Castle, Swarovski Crystal Worlds, Salzburg, St. Peter’s Restaurant, Mirabell Gardens, Oberammergau Passion Play, Munich, and Marienplatz.
