SEMO Homecoming Parade Meeting
It is hard to believe that SEMO Homecoming is just around the corner again! We wanted to thank area businesses and organizations for participating in the 2025 parade. Your support and celebration of SEMO is greatly valued, and we hope to see you again this year on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026.
Our goal is that the 2026 Homecoming parade showcases even more Redhawk pride and SEMO spirit as the University focuses on moving itself, in partnership with communities across eastern Missouri, fearlessly forward. We ask that every entry in some way decorates in anything SEMO. It could be a sign on your vehicle saying “Let’s go Redhawks!” or balloons and streamers on your trailer in red and black. Maybe your walkers carry signs for athletes on our teams. Our community always amazes us with its creativity and energy. We can’t wait to see your entry and parade route cheering section decked out in our school colors. Let’s make the entire parade red and black from Capaha Park to Main and Independence Streets.

Pre-Parade Mandatory Informational Meeting:
When: Wednesday, September 30
5:30 pm for community/University departmental entries
6:30 pm for student organization entries
Where: University Center (GPS Address: 373 N. Henderson)
Program Lounge on 3rd Floor
Once your application is received and reviewed, you will receive an email from us confirming your participation and sharing additional information and reminders related to the parade.
