Join the FOOD Challenge for Hunger Action Month!

See how many squares your business can complete this September! The Hunger Action Month FOOD Challenge is a fun way to engage your team while helping neighbors facing hunger across Southeast Missouri. Businesses that complete 4 squares in a row or all 4 corners will be entered into a prize drawing, while those that complete the entire grid will be entered into our Grand Prize Drawing. We’ll also recognize participating businesses on SEMO Food Bank’s social media. Your participation matters. The latest Map the Meal Gap data shows 69,210 people in Southeast Missouri, including more than 20,680 children, experienced food insecurity in 2024, an increase from 63,790 people in 2023. Every volunteer hour, donation and act of advocacy helps ensure more families have the food they need. One activity can count toward multiple squares, so think strategically. Purchasing food drive items in bulk, for example, can help you complete several challenges at once.
