Elite Travel Inc Comes Together to Create Cancer Care Baskets Through Partnership with ALG Vacations

Cape Girardeau, MO – Cancer has touched nearly everyone including many of the Elite Travel Team in some way, making this recent kindness initiative especially meaningful. Through a generous matching donation partnership with ALG Vacations, Elite Travel Inc was able to create as well as distribute cancer care baskets to select local organizations including churches to support individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment. Each basket was thoughtfully assembled with comfort as well as encouragement in mind. Included was a special book of artwork created by renowned Portland Oregon artist Sharon Sandgren, whose own cancer journey inspired the hope these baskets bring peace, comfort, and moments of calm during the infusion process. President, Carolyn Kempf stated "We are incredibly grateful to ALG Vacations for their kindness, generosity, and partnership that made this outreach possible." This project serves as a reminder even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference for those facing difficult journeys.
