Cassie Campbell to Join The Breakfast Show

Cape Girardeau, MO — Sept. 22, 2025 — KFVS is excited to announce a new chapter for our First Alert Weather Team. Beginning this month, Cassie Campbell will step into the role of Morning Meteorologist on The Breakfast Show.
Cassie succeeds longtime meteorologist Brian Alworth, who is retiring after an extraordinary career guiding viewers in the Heartland through every type of weather. Brian’s calm expertise and dedication have set the standard for trusted weather coverage in our region, and his legacy will continue to inspire the KFVS team.
Cassie is already a familiar and trusted face to viewers as part of the KFVS First Alert Weather Team. With her accurate forecasts, steady presence during severe weather, and genuine connection with the community, Cassie is the perfect fit to join The Breakfast Show alongside Crystal Britt and Nicki Clark.

Cassie is from Marissa, Illinois, and earned her bachelor's degree in meteorology from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Outstanding Senior in Meteorology award. Before joining KFVS in the spring of 2023, she worked as the weekend meteorologist at WBKO in Bowling Green.
