YouthBuild of Cape Girardeau is bringing creativity and community together with its upcoming Art Heals Donation Drive on September 24, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Capaha Park.

The donation drive will collect art supplies and other items to benefit Project Hope, helping provide resources directly to community members in need. The event highlights the positive role creativity can play in supporting mental health, connection and well-being.

Donations Needed

Community members are encouraged to donate coloring books, markers, crayons, colored pencils, fidgets, backpacks and sketchbooks. Donations and proceeds from the event will directly benefit Project Hope and will be distributed to individuals in need throughout the community.

The Art Heals Donation Drive is presented by YouthBuild of Cape Girardeau and sponsored by S.O.L.V.E., YouthBuild Portageville and Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri.

Community members are invited to stop by Capaha Park, contribute to the drive and help make a difference through creativity and connection.
