LemonDrop Foundation Receives $20,000 Grant from The Bank of Missouri to Expand Support for Cancer Patients

Cape Girardeau, Missouri — Friday, August 8th 2026— The LemonDrop Foundation has
received a $20,000 grant from The Bank of Missouri through a partnership with the
Federal Home Loan Bank Member Impact Fund. The funding will help the LemonDrop
Foundation expand its support for cancer patients and their families throughout the community.
Grant funds will be used to provide ChemoPaks, care packages designed to offer comfort and
practical support to cancer patients receiving active treatment. ChemoPaks include items such
as non-scented lotion, anti-nausea products, a blanket, journal, socks, a comfort rock, and a
cooling towel.

In addition to providing ChemoPaks, the grant will allow the LemonDrop Foundation to provide
financial assistance to cancer patients and their families who are facing the challenges and
unexpected expenses that can come with cancer treatment.

“This is the biggest gift in our six-year history,” said Nate Gautier, Executive Director of the
LemonDrop Foundation. “We are so honored and grateful for The Bank of Missouri’s support
and the community to help us continue to serve patients. We will be able to increase our annual
ChemoPak campaign from 300 to 500 ChemoPaks for patients in need.”

The increased funding will allow the LemonDrop Foundation to reach more patients during an
especially challenging time in their lives. By expanding the ChemoPak program and providing
financial support, the organization hopes to help ease some of the emotional, physical, and
financial burdens associated with cancer treatment.

ensure that more cancer patients and families receive the support they need.
