Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Cape Girardeau
More than $40,000 has already been raised for the Cape Girardeau Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Capaha Park. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the Walk starts at 9 a.m. Registration is free, and participants are encouraged to form teams, fundraise, and walk in memory or in honor of someone affected by Alzheimer’s or another dementia. The event brings together individuals, families, caregivers, and businesses from across the region to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The Walk also includes a Promise Garden Ceremony where those impacted by Alzheimer’s, including caregivers, loved ones, and individuals living with Alzheimer’s will take the stage.
