Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri to Host Mississippi Mingle on June 6
(Cape Girardeau, MO) – Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri (CCSOMO) will host the 5th annual Mississippi Mingle in Cape Girardeau on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The family-friendly event is in partnership with the Knights of Columbus Councils #1111 and #11205 and will be held at the Knights Hall, 318 S. Spanish St., Cape Girardeau, MO, from 11:00 am–3:00 pm.
Mississippi Mingle features the Knight’s famous barbecue and fish fry, live music, adult beverages, food trucks, carnival games, and more.
"Summer in Cape Girardeau is the perfect backdrop for an afternoon that brings together the Knights of Columbus, our supporters, and the broader community around something that matters — serving others," said Ken Palermo, Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri. "We're proud of what this event has become and grateful for every person who shows up to make it possible."
Mississippi Mingle is a great way for the community to come together for a fun afternoon and learn more about the services Catholic Charities offers across the 39 southernmost counties in Missouri. Proceeds from the event support Catholic Charities’ six programs, including services for individuals with developmental disabilities, veterans, and residents of LifeHouse Crisis Maternity Home.
Mississippi Mingle sponsorships are available at various levels. Event tickets are $10 and include one drink ticket. Children under five are free. Tickets can be purchased at https://ccsomo.org/mississippi-mingle/ or at the gate.
