Cake & Cookie Decorating Class

This cookie decorating class is a collaboration between Sharde Armour-Kumah of Sweet Celebrations by Dae and Rachael Long of Cookies by Rae. This class is perfect for the beginner or for the person who is just curious to learn what dessert decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies and cakes, have found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you are simply trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating some adorable Vintage Christmas-themed cookies and a vintage-styled cake, but hurry to the checkout -- seats are limited based on room capacity. When they're gone, they're gone!

In this 2.5-hour class, we'll provide everything you need, including cookies, icing, tools and a box to take your awesome creations home - we just need YOU! Each student will receive one cake, 3 cookies, several icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class, so no baking or icing mixing is required. Just decorate! Class is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, and starts at 11 am sharp. Please arrive on time so we have plenty of time to decorate and answer questions along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family! Whether you're coming with a friend, a family member, or solo, you'll have a blast. The "Sweet Holidays" class is for ages 12 and up. If you'd like to include the kiddos, you can purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class PowerPoint so you can teach them yourself!

Class will be held at Mana Tea, located in the beautiful Downtown Cape Girardeau at 411 Broadway St, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701, USA. Nervous about parking? No worries -- planning ahead is key! There is free street parking available along Broadway, or you can find parking behind Scout Hall, along nearby Fountain Street, or one block west on Broadway in the parking lot across from Discovery Playhouse. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes early to secure parking, as Downtown Cape Girardeau tends to be busy during the holiday season!
