6th Annual Spirit of Democracy 2025 Event at the Osage Center! Join us for the 6th Annual Spirit of Democracy 2025 event at the Osage Center in Cape Girardeau, where we honor the sacrifices and stories of our veterans. This year, we are privileged to feature two remarkable speakers: Vietnam Veteran and former Missouri Senator Wayne Wallingford, along with Vietnam POW and retired Colonel John Clark. Wayne Wallingford will share his experiences as a B-52 navigator who flew Linebacker II missions over the Hanoi Hilton POW camp in December 1972. Colonel John Clark will provide a unique perspective on his time as a prisoner in the camp, shedding light on the resilience and bravery of those who served.

As you engage with fellow attendees, enjoy delicious catered food that will satisfy your taste buds. The evening will be enhanced by uplifting live music, creating a celebratory atmosphere for our veterans. Additionally, you can participate in our silent auction for a chance to win exciting items while supporting a great cause.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 1, with doors opening at 5 PM and the program starting at 6 PM.
