Preusser Named Community Bank President at First Midwest Bank

The Board of Directors of First Midwest Bank announced that David Preusser has been named the Community Bank President for the Jackson market.

Preusser has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, with extensive knowledge in credit analysis and commercial lending. He will oversee First Midwest’s Jackson location while continuing to serve the residents of Jackson and the surrounding communities as a lender. Preusser steps into his new role following the retirement of John N. Thompson.

David earned both his bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University. His professional accomplishments include graduating from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, serving as president of the Cape West Rotary Club, and being involved with the Jackson Chamber of Commerce and St. Paul Lutheran Church. He lives in Jackson with his wife, Bethany and their three sons.
