Cape Central High’s Theresa Taylor and Jefferson Elementary’s Olivia Carter have been recognized as two of the top educators in the state.

Taylor, who has taught computer classes at Cape Central for 17 years, has been named a Spotlight Educator by the Midwest Education Technology Community (METC). Carter, who is entering her eighth year as a school counselor, is the 2019 Missouri School Counselor Association’s Elementary Counselor of the Year.
