MRV Banks Hires Greg Luehmann as New Vice President
MRV Banks President and CEO Doug Watson was pleased to announce that Greg J. Luehmann has been hired as the Bank’s new Senior Vice President and President of Card Services. Luehmann will be working in the Sikeston and Cape Girardeau markets.

“I’ve known Greg for many years and because of that, I’m already familiar with his impressive banking resume,” said Watson. “Greg spent years working at banks throughout Missouri before taking over a troubled bank in our state and through his guidance, was able to turn it into one of the most profitable banks in the country. The bank increased its shareholder value significantly during that time. I have no doubt he will be an excellent fit for MRV Banks.”

Luehmann comes to MRV Banks with more than 35 years of banking experience and 20 years of experience as a former Bank President. Luehmann also spent three years serving on the Regulatory Affairs Committee for Missouri Bankers Association including one year as chairman.

“I was drawn to MRV Banks because they have an excellent reputation in the banking industry and they are big on taking care of their customers,” said Luehmann. “I also have eight grand kids in the Sikeston and Charleston area so I’m excited to be working closer to all of them now.”

Founded in 2007, MRV Banks is one of the fastest growing banks in Missouri. With more than $450 million dollars in assets, it is ranked within the top 10 percent of its national peer group which is based on Asset Growth, Net Interest Margin, Efficiency and other criteria.
