Buchheit Agriculture Open House

Buchheit Agriculture holds Open House. Buchheit Agri is a full-service feed mill, seed cleaning operation, fertilizer blending facility and grain elevator in Biehle, Missouri. The Open House provided lunch for approximately 60 farmers and was held from 11:00 am- 1:30 pm. This event offered the perfect opportunity for customers and community members to see what Buchheit Agri offers, ask questions, meet team members, and view the latest Agri addition, built just in time for the 2017 fall harvest.  Buchheit Agri revealed their new G4 grain leg which can handle 10,000 bushels/hour. 1,000 bushels can be unloaded in under six minutes, greatly reducing the total unloading time. This new expansion helps “farmers get back in the field faster.”

In 1934, Rudy Buchheit learned the importance of customer service when he set up shop in a Missouri hamlet during the depths of the Depression. Rudy left the family farm, bought a truck and started hauling livestock, hay, and corn to St. Louis from Perry County. As time at the original facility went on, few hardware items were added and he began selling livestock feed. The company has grown steadily since the early 1930's and the company has grown to employ over 650 people and is comprised of multiple divisions. Today, the Buchheit Agri Division provides quality agricultural products for customers as well as support, advice, and information. Their premium feeds provide balanced nutrition of a variety of animals including beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, equine, rabbits, and poultry. They also mix custom feeds and their feeds are available at the mill in addition to being available for pick up at the retail stores or for delivery.
