United Way Encourages Donors to Meet at Giving Tree
Giving Tuesday is December 3, and United Way of Southeast Missouri (UWSEMO) invites everyone to meet at the Giving Tree to participate in this global day dedicated to worldwide philanthropy. After spending on Thanksgiving meals and travel, Black Friday deals, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday follows, reminding the world of the true meaning of the 'season of giving.

United Way has created a digital Giving Tree where gifts of $10-$500 can be virtually placed under the Giving Tree to support education, income and health throughout Southeast Missouri. Gifts represent the work of nearly 40 area nonprofits and programs that UWSEMO invests in, such as: $10 for a shower, towel & hygiene items for someone in need; $50 to fill a backpack or food pantry box for a month; $250 to provide critical therapy for stroke, dementia, and physical rehabilitation; or $500 to restore dentures and dignity to a victim of abuse.

Please leave your gift at for someone who could use a little help during this season of giving.
