WHY I AM A CHAMBER MEMBER: The Principles, employees, and associates of Cuba Financial Group believe strongly in the concept of stewardship.  We believe wealth provides us the opportunity to "do good."  Membership in the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce is one of our ways to contribute to the growth and success of our community and its citizens.  The Chamber is a dynamic group of individuals and businesses with which we are proud to be associated.

SERVICES PROVIDED: AmeriSpec Home Inspection Services provides thorough structural and mechanical general home inspections and radon gas testing.  Our inspections adhere to the highest home inspection industry standards, which helps ensure our clients have all of the necessary information about a property and its major operating systems.  We use state-of-the-art equipment to check over 400 items, and our findings are summarized in the comprehensive and easy-to-read AmeriSpec Report.  This report not only contains a report of findings from the property, but also a home repair manual and seasonal maintenance checklist.  We provide a complimentary limited 90-day structural and mechanical warranty for our customers who purchase the property we inspect.  In addition to inspections for the real estate industry, we also provide new construction progress inspections and underwriting inspections for the insurance industry.

WHY I AM A CHAMBER MEMBER: I beleive in being invested in the community that supports your business.  In Cape Girardeau, the Chamber of Commerce is known for the quality of its board, membership, programming and for the benefits it provides to members and those who are interested in coming to our community.  The quality of our chamber is recognized in the region, and its success ultimatelymeans a greater potential for the growth and health of our community.  This ultimately benefits all of our local businesses, and in turn we should support its efforts.  I enjoy the social and networking opportunities it provides, and think the people that make up the chamber membership are wonderful people.  You see many of the same people working to support our schools, service clubs and churches, and they really make Cape Girardeau a great place to live.

SERVICES PROVIDED: We offer total accounting and tax services tosmall business in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois.  Specifically, we provide payroll processing, payroll, sales and miscellaneous tax preparation for our business clients, as well as, income tax reporting for both our business and individual clients.  We offer financial statement preparation and use that tool to counsel our clients.  Our dependable staff works closely with our clients to solve their business needs, keeping ourmission in mind every day.

WHY I AM A CHAMBER MEMBER: I started by business in 1981 and joined the Cape Girardeau Chamber of commerce the same year.  I joined and continue to be a member because of the networking advantages it offers.  The Chamber speaks for businesses both small and large.  The Chamber offers support for each and every business.  Just like us; it always seemed like a good fit.

SERVICES PROVIDED: The twelve attorneys in our firm provide professional legal services in the areas of corporate/business law, creditors' rights, criminal defense, estate planning, family law, litigation, real estate and workers' compensation.

WHY I AM A CHAMBER MEMBER:  I joined the Chamber first as a college student and I found it to be an excellent way to connect with the community.  When I moved back to Cape Girardeau in 2010, joining the chamber was one of the first things I did.  First Friday Coffees and Business After Hours always provide an opportunity to meet other professionals and businesspeople.  I have always been interested in Leadership Cape, and I'm excited to participate in the Class of 2012.

WHY I AM A CHAMBER MEMBER:  I can't imagine owning a business in this area and not being a member of the Cape Chamber.  I have made many important connections as a result of my membership - both professionally and personally.  Without a doubt, being a Chamber member has opened doors for my business, and the Chamber staff have been extremely helpful with networking and answering questions.  Not only does being a member lend additional legitimacy to my business, but attending the breakfasts, After Hours and other events educate me on the needs of other businesses that I may be able to help.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Midwest Health Care is a provider of Medical Billing, Provider Credentialing and Rural Health Clinic Consulting Services.  We provide these services to some of the largest hospital systems and individual physicians alike.  MWHC has developed a reputation of being a "go to Rural Health Clinic" consultant by many organizations.  We cover several states including most of the Southeast U.S.

WHY I AM A CHAMBER MEMBER:  MWHC has supported my desire to be a Chamber member.  My father was a member of 50 years and I continue to utilize my Chamber networking.  My fault is that my travels seem to get in the way of attending and utilizing the full service of the Chamber.  Someday I hope to pay back what the Chamber has given me through the years (my first Chamber event was a ride on a Corps of Engineers, Mississippi Barge trip, too long ago to be recognized by many Chamber members).  I have a strong network of mentors who have deep roots in the Chamber.
