LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT – 2011 Organization and Leadership Development Division   PURPOSE   Cultivate new community leaders and foster existing community leaders along with creating educational and networking opportunities for Leadership Cape Girardeau graduates, while recognizing the mutually beneficial rewards of diversity.   GOAL   Develop and implement the Leadership Cape Girardeau program.   OBJECTIVES   Provide valuable and interesting information about Cape Girardeau and the surrounding area;   Create unique opportunities for dialogue and rapport between the class members and community leaders;   Stimulate and increase the class members’ level of commitment and participation in community;   Develop future leaders by enhancing leadership skills. GOAL   Develop and implement the Leadership Cape 2 program.   OBJECTIVES   Provide expanded leadership training opportunities;   Stimulate and increase the class members' level of commitment and participation in the community;   Assist current leaders with meeting their professional development goals.       GOAL   Provide professional development and networking opportunities for Alumni.   OBJECTIVES   Prepare and distribute an online directory of Alumni members;   Maintain an updated listing of all alumni available to organizations seeking leaders;   Sponsor at least three annual programs/events to provide opportunities to all alumni for continued learning and networking.
